Class-D Audio Amplifier using Sigma-Delta (ΣΔ) Modulator

Pulse width modulation and pulse density are deemed to be main techniques, even PDM could not emulate PWM, in terms of, basically, simplicity. bitstream is encoded through sigma-delta modulation. Since modulation, compared needs very high switching frequency more complicated materials compose circuits, it’s difficult design one. In this article we a low-power class-D audio amplifier circuit where the analog signal into (PDM) using first-order (ΣΔ) modulator. The designed built Orcad-PSpice results analyzed with Matlab. A second-order integrator, voltage divider as feedback loop used mitigate THD get efficiency. passed EM speaker Butterworth low-pass filter. low of less than 0.2 % obtained comparing similar circuits literature efficiency 92 achieved.
